Interfaith Peace Service next Sunday
Friends: I invite you to join me at the annual Interfaith Peace Service, held this year at 4 pm next Sunday, September 19, at the Peace Garden, the grove of trees on the south end of Nollen Plaza in downtown Des Moines. The service will include a renewal of the Peace Garden. Bring family and friends. On a personal note, I'm a member of the organizing Ecumenical Peace Committee as one way of practicing my Buddhist philosophy of "Peace within through meditation, and peace without through peace and social justice action."
