MEDITATION GROUP ANNOUNCEMENTS

(1) Tuesday, Dec. 24, 7:30-9:00 pm, Meditation Class is cancelled on Christmas Eve.

(2) Tuesday, Dec. 31, 7:30-9:00 pm, Meditation Class will meet on New Year's Eve.

(3)  Saturday, Jan. 18, 8 am - noon: Half-Day Meditation Retreat with Judy Allen:At the Friends Meeting House, 4211 Grand Ave., on the northwest corner of 42nd and Grand in Des Moines. Judy will lead sitting and walking meditations and give a dharma talk/reading.  Fred Nelson will lead a lovingkindness meditation. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome.  There is no charge; donations are welcome.

(4)  Tuesday, Feb. 4, 7-9 pm: Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness talk by Charlie Day: 2014 Winter Thaw class at Tifereth Israel Synagogue, 924 Polk Blvd., Des Moines, IA 50312.
